being ignored
pulling on plush toys
playing tug-of-war
for regulatory
money launderers
coming under
appalling assaults
overtly distorted
over long hauls
of horrific discord
years and years long
while posing with orbs
frantically drilling for oil
soon after dawn hollowed out
crisscrossed reports all bound
for export torn stuffings
sprawled across hardwood floors
euphemistically called
"moderation implausible"
as just rewards
genes turned on
genes turned off
back and forth
highs crashes
cravings withdrawal
neural networks
of unlearning
getting integrated
into a new person first
having been broken
but to no avail
too painful to bear on a global scale
under chairmen's voice commands
performing thankless tasks
leading to inadequacies
desks and closets disappearing
as part of the agreement
ceding three seats to a once-
catatonic company
now becoming profitable
yet still highly risky
coming under suspicion
via flashy action figures
mischievously grinning
in tilting pinball machines
flashing turnaround stories
slamming silver balls
as an analysis of good form
in the curriculums for leasts-of-alls
warded off reference points
