Chaos mayhem/hoping in desperation for a mass evacuation/stymied by miles of concertina wire/belying clearing of Herculean flights/unable to carry on with their lives/as gunfire pierces the blackening skies night after night/while outlying fighters wryly reply to queries of unceasing violence/“in a time of conflict, every body dies”/having seen an unfair share of getting in and out of jams during fierce scares/getting down/exploding into a barrage of notes/undergoing penetrating tones/known as an ongoing drone/conjuring feelings of being under  complete control …
